Welcome to Hot Boat Charlie's!!!

Summer is closing...but I've got a few more one-of-a-kind motors to share, like an 1929 Callie, and a ready-to-run 1954 Sea King.  For mystery fans I have an engine from parts all over the spectrum--I call it my 'Imagination Engine.'  Plus, another boat for sale...I had plans to restore but haven't had the time.

Check it out below.

We specialize in old, vintage outboards for the avid  fan of these timeless beauties.  Our stock includes Johnson, Evinrude, Mercury and many other lines of antique motors from 1915 to 1960.  Yes, there really is a Charlie---that's me, and I have been an outboard enthusiast as far back as I can remember. Check out our History page to find out more about me and our shop.

AND, Be sure to check out my links -- my friends there can be invaluable in providing for any boat owner.

Browse around this page and check out our new items--and don't forget to see My Garage with new additions on boats I have been restoring.

All metals that are not painted are polished--brass, bronze, copper and aluminum.  We meticulously expose and polish all metals so the end product glows.  We can restore any motor to your specifications.

Wood engine stands are available.

These motors are for the collector--unless otherwise specified, they are not functional. I do not recommend exposing these motors to the typical marine environment -- it may tarnish the polished metals and dull the paint.

Click on any picture to look at the full-blown picture of the motor.  Use your back button to return.

IMAGINATION ENGINE--Where did this come from???

Well...it's a Mercury engine with parts from Neptune, Majestic, Sea King...and the chrome is from a Honda VTC Motorcycle.  I'm not even sure where the prop came from.  It's got it all...including Nitrous Oxide!  WILD--Call for price.

A beauty in progress.

This boat is a 14 foot, 1957 Bell Boy Run-About, with a Tee Nee trailer (neat fenders, if you know the model).  It has no structural damage.  I have new taillights in a box, and all the hardware.  I stripped it thinking I would do a restoration, but haven't found the time.   Call for a price.

1945 Kensill-Craft--We built it.  No steering wheel but one could be arranged.  Call Charlie on this one-serious inquiries only, please.

1997 HYDRO, 8.5'. Fully ready to run. Custom built fuel tank, steering, and custom pain job. Only used twice.  Looking into matching trailer with Mag wheels--but that's not part of the package yet.  $2500.00.
